Once they take the containment and cabling away, all that is left is terminations and testing. Around 75% of a skilled electricians work removed with two 7 week training courses.

Once it has been rolled out on a major project like Hinkley Point C, they will be looking towards Sizewell and HS2. Then the NAECI and JIB agreements. 

Within a couple of years, 75% of electricians work will be carried out by operatives on a fraction of the wage, deskilling the industry. 

Weekly actions across the country are imminent and we will be soon descending onto Hinkley Point to shut the site down.
