ReplyDeleteAfter an hour or so the police managed to find a pair of bolt cutters and cut the chain. We had made our point and left peacefully. The police behaved themselves and deserve some credit for their behavior today, unlike the Grattes staff who when asked a series of questions about besna and the effect it would have on us had absolutely nothing to say. I have read quotes from Grattes online about this being a violent protest, if that was the case, the police would have taken some action don't you think? More of this kind of action to come, beginning with Blackfriars next Wednesday. Come and join us, we will only stop besna with more action like this
