The First Of Many............

Today saw the beginning of the fight back. At 6:30 this morning Electricians started gathering at the site entrance of the Balfour Beatty site, Blackfriars Station. The protest lasted from 6:30am till 8:30am and was attended by approximately 300 Electricians.
Members of the press turned up to take some pictures and interview some people just gone 7am. It was a peaceful protest with some fantastic speeches by members of the elected committee, a UCCAT official and some concerned Electricians. Jerry Hicks got the crowd going with some inspirational words through the megaphone. Some pictures have been attached and a more detailed summary of events will follow.

The next protest is planned for Wednesday 31st August, Westfield Shopping Centre, Stratford at 6:30am.
